Brandi’s is an intimate strip club located on a fifth floor show lounge with a line-up of beautiful dancers and a number of impressive stage shows.

Here you’ll find everything from burlesque, to sexy solo pole dancing, to the occasional ladies night male show (every other Wednesday) which involves what they describe as a ‘buffet of beefcake’.

It is one of the busier Vancouver strip bars.

Located on 595 Hornby Street, this club is ideal for stag and bachelor parties, as well as the culmination of bar crawls or the afterparty of a dinner in the many nearby restaurants.

Brandi’s has a few themed nights you should look out for, including:

Red Hot Wednesdays — Where all the floor girls will be dressed in alluring red.

Seductive Saturdays — What’s your fantasy? Getting it on with a secretary? A french maid? A nurse? Saturday is dress-ups at Brandi’s, so expect all kinds of sexy numbers to emerge from their wardrobe…

Throwback Thursdays — Video dance party meets throwback to the 70s and 80s. If you’d like to remember the partying of your youth, this event will be both nostalgic and probably pretty horny for you.

They have a dress code, so note: no ball caps, no tracksuits, no tanktops, no hoodies or sweat tops. Clean and casual, dress to impress.

The Granville Strip

The Granville Strip aims to bring the style and artistry of Paris’ legendary show lounges to the heart of Vancouver. And it’s certainly an impressive venue.

Upon setting foot inside, you’ll be greeted by 30 feet ceilings and a massive 21 foot pole on the main stage (where the many exotic dancers are urged to “take their shows to new verticals”). This taste for extravagance has seen the club compared to a naked Cirque du Soleil.

Hardly the worst reputation.

The Granville is not what you’d call a hole-in-the-wall strip club.

But if you’re looking for a more intimate experience, there are private dance booths available.

There is also a brand new Playroom lounge which is home to Topless Blackjack, and top shelf cocktails, every Friday and Saturday.

No.5 Orange

Known around town as simply The Number 5, this lap dance bar on Main Street has an infamous reputation.

It’s said that the line between strippers and prostitutes has been crossed on a number of occasions (although we’re sure that applies to many clubs), and some guests have suggested that it has a back room with a bed and a locked door. Hmm…

Whatever the rumors, there’s no doubt that this is one of the most lively gentlemen’s clubs in Vancouver. The venue has low ceilings and a pub-like atmosphere where the sexual tension ratchets up as the night goes on.

The club is home to some beautiful local dancers, as well as what it describes as Vancouver’s best pub food. Excellent menu at decent prices.

With guests reporting around $50 for private dances, however, you might want to keep some of that money aside for the sexy entertainment that follows.

The Penthouse

First established way back in 1947, just two years after the end of World War 2. This legendary strip joint has seen it all: police raids, murders, fires, a never-ending factory line of liquor law changes and even attempted land buy-outs.

Who needs another condo development, eh?

The Penthouse remains an iconic lap dance nightclub in Vancouver.

It’s small and intimate with old photos lining the walls; assuming you can keep your eyes off the array of exotic showgirls working their stuff on the central stage.

Penthouse dancers are a mix of local Vancouver girls, Asian ladies and extremely nimble showgirls hand-picked from around BC. Private dances are available.

Also look out for the regular Amateurs’ Night. These are a great draw for the crowd; your chance to see newbies get naked.

Paramount Gentlemen’s Club

Paramount claims to be “Metro Vancouver’s premiere gentleman’s club and the city’s ultimate experience in adult entertainment.”

It’s a decent sized club with an upscale atmosphere, albeit slightly out of town.

Paramount is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, or you can take the skytrain if you plan to hit the bar hard…

Unlike many strip bars in Canada, Paramount offers contact dances.

They have anywhere between 15 to 30 dancers performing each night, so you’ll have plenty of ladies to choose from.

Private dances are available in a handful of VIP rooms, or the super-VIP Platinum Rooms; your chance to get away from the crowds in a comfortable and discreet bubble of intimacy.

Lap dances are $25 each, or five songs for $100.

A special duo show, including two dancers for two songs, is $100.

30 minutes in the VIP Platinum Room will set you back $200, or $300 for the hour. The half hour duo is $300.

Paramount says that its roster is under contract, so you won’t have seen their girls on ‘rotation’ at any of the other Vancouver strip clubs downtown. Hot girls with fresh faces is their motto. And they claim to have more dancers than any other VAN strip club.
