Pinky’s Show Palace
11845 Wayne Gretzky Drive Northwest, Edmonton, AB T5B 4R4
UPDATE: ACCORDING TO RECENT REPORTS. VENUE HAS BEEN CLOSED.
Situated in the north-east of the city, Pinky’s Show Palace is close to both the Northlands Ice Coliseum and the Edmonton Expo Centre. It is a very popular location for bachelorette parties due, in the main, to the presence of the popular lady’s choice, Lil Ernie. At just 48” tall, this pint-sized performer takes to the stage on Friday and Saturday nights. He also hosts amateur night on Thursdays where cash prizes are on offer.
The club is known for its crazy offers to entice guests in through the door but it is the warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps them at Pinky’s. Check the website for the latest offers as well as their party packages.
Pinky’s is open as follows:
- Sunday to Thursday: 8.00pm to 3.00am
- Friday and Saturday: 5.00pm to 3.00am
Saint Pete’s Exotic Show Bar
11125 156 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 1X9
Situated in the west of the city, Saint Pete’s can be found in the industrial area of Edmonton. They are a popular club with a friendly reputation and some talented performers.
As well as hosting and bottle service you can also book from one of several party packages or opt for a VIP experience.
The prices at Saint Pete’s are normal for a good club and they serve a good range of hard and soft drinks as well as Western and Asian style snacks. Dancers can charge up to $200 for a private performance lasting around half an hour however cheaper lap dances are available.
Saint Pete’s is open as follows:
- Monday to Saturday: 3.00pm to 2.30am
- Sunday: 8.00pm to 2.30am
Shade Gentleman’s Club
10148 105 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 1C9
Another club operated and owned by the same stable that includes Eden and Diamonds, Shade is another popular bachelor and bachelorette party venue. They offer a good range of packages for large groups and, as a result, the atmosphere here can get quite rowdy at the weekends (depending on the clientele!).
It’s not the largest club nor the most upmarket but it does have a reasonably good reputation for its service and prices as well as performers. Unusually for a city strip, Shade also gets great feedback for its security, bartenders and serving staff. Perhaps this is the reason that the club is popular with locals but whatever their recipe for success, Shade’s does (for the most part) enjoy good reviews.
This isn’t a spit and sawdust kind of bar but it isn’t a plush club; however, it is clean, modern and comfortable.
Shade’s is open as follows:
- Sunday to Thursday: 8.00pm to 3.00am
- Friday and Saturday: 6.00pm to 3.00am
