As well as having a large number of residents, it is also a popular destination for tourists to North America and offers a huge number of ways to keep people entertained. Sex and Swingers Clubs in Edmonton City
Since the Supreme Court ruling in 2005 deemed swinger’s clubs to have an acceptable place in society, sex clubs in Canada have been able to breathe a sigh of relief over their future. However, Edmonton has had a trickier time accepting this than the more cosmopolitan capitals like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
There are two main swingers’ clubs in the city, Intimate Times and 4-Play although there is an active social scene for anyone looking for a more intimate ‘munch’. In addition, there are a couple of BDSM clubs and a men-only bath house.
Intimate Times
The club hosts a range of themed parties each month with some evenings being dedicated to kinks and fetishes whilst others being aimed at voyeurs and exhibitionists. Overall, there are usually at least one or two events each month that are ideal for newcomers and the curious.

Parties at Intimate Times are held on Friday and Saturday nights from 9.00pm to 3.00am with no admittance after 1.00pm.
4-Play
This private swingers club in Edmonton is a well-attended venue for lifestyle members and offers three private play rooms, a dungeon, bar and dance floor. It also boasts a huge group play bed, called Goliath.

Single men are welcome to attend Friday night events but must call ahead to be placed on the guest list. On Saturdays however, single guys must accompany couples or a single lady to gain admittance.
Door rates are charged as follows for members (prices correct as at August 2018) with non-members being charged an additional $10:

Steamworks

A bath house, Steamworks is conveniently located in West Downtown on Jasper Avenue. It has been open since 2003 and has principally been a hangout for gay and bisexual men; however, the club also runs mixed coed nights where women and straight men are also welcome.

As well as being open for general ‘fraternizing’, Steamworks also runs weekly and monthly special events which include theme nights and fetish parties.
It is recommended that first timers talk to t he staff on arrival who can advise on the etiquette and code of conduct. Certainly, newcomers may prefer to book a private room for their first foray to the venue. As a spa, the common areas include wet steam, dry sauna and hot tub areas where most guests are either fully nude or wearing fetish gear. There is also a central lounge for cruising but most of the action takes place in private play rooms some of which include equipment like slings and swings plus more besides.
The bath house is open 24/7, 365 days a year but are coed only from 8.00am on Sundays to midnight on Tuesdays.
Kink and BDSM Events and Clubs in Edmonton

Edmonton O Society
Celebrating 21 years of providing a safe and discreet way for members to meet in the Edmonton area, the O Society meets twice monthly for social events. The club takes its name from the classic French erotic novel, ‘The Story of O’ and welcomes all types of members to its club including singles and couples, men and women and a variety of sexual orientations.
Club meetings are held n the first Sunday of every month at 1.00pm and the then on a Wednesday, 10 days after the Sunday munch) at 7.00pm. A small fee is payable at these meetings
Members meet at Rosario’s, 11715 108Ave, Edmonton for these social and educational workshops.
Lupercalia
An annual feast celebrating desire, lust and love, the Lupercalia is based on the Ancient Roman festival by the same name.
It takes place over three days and offers plenty of social meetings and networking opportunities as well as workshops, presentations and forums. There are also play parties arranged around the whole event which embrace the themes of Lupercalia.
The next event will take place in February 2019 when the event celebrates its 20th year. Advance tickets cost around $180 although you can purchase single event and day (or night) only tickets. All tickets are purchased through the Edmonton O Society (see above).

Kink Kamp
An organisation run by men, for men, the Kink Kamp offers a place for leather aficionados to share their experience of bondage, leather and related kinks on a private retreat. The location for KK is the picturesque and private Labyrinth Lake Lodge where guests spend the weekend in the brotherhood of like-minded guys.
The camp is run during July and tickets are priced at $225 per person (prices correct as at August 2018).

Sex Clubs near Edmonton
Of course, the club action in Alberta isn’t restricted to the province’s capital and you can also find a couple of swinger’s club in the city of Red Deer and Calgary.
Red Deer
Though a good hour and half drive from Edmonton, Club Enigma offers lifestyle members the opportunity for a weekend break and a change of scenery.
Social events are run every Friday and Saturday evening from 9.00pm and they also organise some weekend campouts during August.
As well as some relaxed socializing areas with a lounge, pool table and bar area there are also play areas, dance floor and a dungeon. The venue is a BYOB but offers soft drinks, tea/coffee and snacks.
Parties are private, so you do need to contact the club’s organizers in advance to confirm attendance and book your tickets.

Calgary
The Calgary Adult Playground is a popular but private swingers club offering two nights each week for its members; Fetish Fridays and Swingers Saturdays.
Although it’s a good three hours drive from Edmonton, Calgary is another option for a naughty weekend away at a club that offers a good range of facilities and a new selection of guests to mingle with.
Membership to Intimate Times also gives you access to the Calgary Adult Playground.
