The venue has a reputation for a heady mix of loud music, low price drinks and lives by its motto of providing a year round Spring Break atmosphere. In true Spring Break style, you can usually find plenty of girls who are looking to get laid.
Tequila Jacks is open Thursday to Saturday from 10pm to 2.30am.

Le Fou Du Roi

Founded in 1849 Le Fou Du Roi is also known as ‘the laff’ due to it doubling as a comedy club and nightclub. Friendly, stylish and welcoming, the venue is laid back and fully embraces a pseudo ‘dive club’ feel. Popular with cougars on the pull you can usually find mature single ladies sharking the bar for younger guys. Regular ladies tend to dress up for nights out here so make sure you look sharp enough to catch her eye before any other guys.
Though outside the city in Gatineau, Le Fou Du Roi is a refreshing change from some of the city’s real dive bars.

The Bacchus Lounge is a stylish cigar lounge in Gatineau that sits inside the Hilton Lac-Leamy. As a popular gentleman’s lounging area close to the casino, Bacchus is a known spot for cougars, the venue does attract some stylish mature women on the hunt for guys with a certain ‘elegance’…and maybe some winnings to splash about.
It offers a good view of Ottawa from across the border and is a cosy place to hole up and wait for some action.
JunXion

If you are looking for a party girl then you can do no better than head to JunXion. The ‘Curators of Cool’ since 2011, this bar is a popular hot spot on weekends and attracts plenty of hedonistic singles. It’s more of a dance club than a public house but it is split over two levels to try and create zones for those who don’t want to sweat it out on the dance floor.
Open from 10pm to 2am Friday, Saturday and Tuesday, the usual rules of engagement work here in that there are plenty of couples around as well as singles so just do your ‘research’ before going in with your killer lines.

The Great Canadian Cabin

Entry is for over 19s and is a popular place for country fans. On the nights when they have a live band the action can get pretty crazy but it is then that you are most likely to pull.
A true dive bar, they run regular events such as the Bikini Buckoff, Foam Parties, Backyard Bash, Ladies Nights and Coyote Ugly parties.
